Linksys Systems

Following the huge success of the VAR product guide I created for Linksys Small Business Series, they wanted a similar sales guide for their DMR call center reps. We devised a series of one-page, front-and-back slick documents that highlighted the key selling points of Linksys Small Business Solutions and answers to Frequently Asked Questions. Linksys launched the campaign in December 2006 to great reception.

Microsoft

I wrote a 2,000-word feature for a Microsoft custom insert in CIO Magazine about the benefits of Software Asset Management. The goal was to educate chief-level executives in small-to medium-sized businesses about the increased ROI they would receive by more accurately accounting for their software resources.

The good folks at Goodstorm wanted copy that reflected the values behind their site—that it’s about "doing good" as well as having a successful company. Ironweed Film Club

Ironweed, an independent-film distribution company and film club, is grassroots, passionate, and progressive. They want people to know not only what films they have coming, but why these films are important and how amazing independent film can be. I try to capture that spirit in their film capsule descriptions every month.

Netflix

Think back, if you will, to a time when movie rental over the Internet was completely unknown to the average citizen. Editors wondered, why should we write about this? I helped Netflix get into the minds of editors and wrote this guide to tell media outlets exactly what the service was and why it was newsworthy.
